This will allow us to communicate sensitive information to you on a timely basis and to share upcoming events. This is important because certain information such as political information cannot be distributed via outlook VA.gov email addresses.

Jill Folsom, AFGE Treasurer is now a Notary and will be happy to assist our members with their notary needs. Please send her a message to ensure she is in the office before you come up. Currently her notary Union hours are Monday – Friday 0830am-16:00pm.
WEINGARTEN RIGHTS
One of the most valuable rights you have as a union member is the right to have a union representative with you for any discussions that could result in discipline. However, while it is a right your supervisor doesn’t not have to remind you. You are responsible to ask for representation. Below you will find the exact wording that can be cut out and placed in your ID holder just in case!
